What is Woods to Wonders Wellness?
Woods to Wonders Wellness is a handcrafted wellness brand based in Nokesville, Virginia, making cedar, pine, and stone pieces for calm and grounding. Every piece is shaped by hand from fallen cedar and pine harvested on the maker's own land, then paired with locally foraged Virginia stones — small, tactile companions designed for everyday grounding, where wood meets stone, and stillness finds you.
Our Story
Every piece begins in the woods. Woods to Wonders Wellness is a small, family-run studio in Nokesville, Virginia, founded by Ronit Gelber-Weaver — a registered mental health nurse, maker, and lifelong nature lover. Each fidget, sculpture, and grounding piece is handcrafted from fallen cedar and pine gathered on our own land — wood that came down on its own, never cut for craft. We pair that wood with stones foraged by hand from the creeks and trails around our home, then hand-tumbled in small batches until they hold the light.
Nothing here is mass-produced. Nothing is rushed. Each piece is shaped slowly, sanded by hand, and finished with a food-safe walrus oil that protects the wood while letting the grain, knots, and natural character show through. The result is a small, tactile object meant to be held — something quiet to reach for in a busy moment, where wood meets stone, and stillness finds you.
This is our story, not just one maker's — the harvesting, shaping, and gathering is shared by our family. Woods to Wonders Wellness is a brand of ChaoticFlair Consulting LLC, a woman-owned, veteran-run small business.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is a calming fidget or worry stone made of cedar?
- A cedar calming fidget or worry stone is a small handcrafted piece of wood — hand-shaped, sanded smooth in places and left textured in others — designed to be held in the hand for grounding and quiet focus. At Woods to Wonders Wellness, each one is shaped from fallen cedar harvested on our own Virginia land, so it carries warmth, natural grain, and a faint cedar scent.
- Where do the stones in Woods to Wonders pieces come from?
- Our stones are gathered by hand — most from the land and creeks around our Nokesville, Virginia home, and a few from personal family travels. They're cleaned, sorted, and then hand-tumbled in small batches over several weeks until they hold the light. They're intentionally left with subtle texture so the hand stays gently engaged.
- What makes a good grounding or mindfulness gift?
- A good grounding gift is small, tactile, natural, and meant to be carried or kept close — something you can reach for in a stressful moment without thinking. Our Grounding Pairs (a piece of handcrafted wood matched with a polished stone) are designed exactly for this: a quiet, sensory object that invites a pause rather than asking for attention.
- Are the pieces handmade?
- Yes. Every Woods to Wonders piece is handmade — never mass-produced. The maker personally gathers the wood and stones, hand-shapes each piece, and tumbles the stones in small batches. Because every piece of wood and every stone is different, no two finished pieces are alike.
- How are the wood pieces finished?
- The wood pieces are hand-shaped and hand-sanded — polished smooth where the rings and grain show, and left a little wild where the wood grew. We use a food-safe walrus oil finish on most pieces to bring out the grain and protect the surface, and never use stains, dyes, or synthetic lacquers.
- Why is cedar grounding?
- Cedar is grounding because it engages multiple senses simultaneously. Its natural warmth provides comforting tactile input, its aromatic oils activate calming responses in the limbic brain, and its organic textures give the fingers meaningful patterns to explore — all of which anchor awareness to the present moment.
- Who benefits from grounding tools?
- Grounding tools benefit everyone — but they're especially valued by people navigating anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, sensory processing differences, or chronic stress. Therapists, counselors, and occupational therapists frequently recommend them. They also serve anyone seeking calm moments in a busy day.
- Are your products safe and non-toxic?
- Yes. All of our cedar and pine pieces are crafted from natural, untreated wood. We apply no stains, lacquers, chemicals, or synthetic finishes beyond a food-safe walrus oil.
- Do you ship internationally?

- Is Woods to Wonders Wellness a small business?
- Yes — we are a woman-owned, veteran-run, family business. Every piece is handcrafted with care in our family workshop in Nokesville, Virginia.
